Looks like theres one at 47.00 right now if anyone is intrested
Full disclosure, it's not the exact model I linked on best buy. I believe the one through Sam's club auction is a Sam's club specific model but looks identical to the "fiesta" model linked

Definitely a different market, but an interesting speaker none-the-less. .

I bought the older model of this 100 watt 6 years ago and use it 2 times a week. Battery can last all day if not 2 days playing straight. Awesome sound too
I concur. I often forget when I charged it last because it goes so long. Weeks and even months can go by.

I have the Ion Block Rocker Max. It's easy to take apart. Mine isn't waterproof and I killed it on a beach day. I ripped out the insides and installed a $20 car stereo. I've added 4 speakers and a subwoofer.

Definitely the greatest portable speaker I've ever bought.by far. I was always looking and waiting for the next thing until I got this. Now, I'm set.

Not sure about how to replace the battery on the OP model, but mine is 4 screws and a $30 battery. Hence, after years and this thing stops charging, you just flip a new battery. Pretty great stuff.

That's actually a fair analogy. That comment was stemming from other comments in response to a couple products I spoke about in my original post. It was never meant to be a direct comparison

If you search the Sam's club auctions for "fiesta", there is a battery powered model

Bought from Sam's club about 5 years ago Christmas time. Loved it. Great for camping weekend. Can blast music for multiple days. Don't count on the Microphone as it feels like a throw in. Can charge USB devices too.

I let my brother borrow it and he didn't charge the battery correctly. I did end up replacing the battery on mine a year ago. It has a door so it's easy to replace the battery. The battery is heavy duty was around $30.

Speaking as someone who has admittedly owned more Bluetooth speakers than any one person should (premium and otherwise), I'm intrigued by any post for a speaker. However, I will say there are potentially better offerings available for less.
I actually just ordered a 120W Bluetooth speaker with touchscreen and two microphones for full karaoke function for $64 shipped from Sam's club auctions.
I like that this speaker has multiple functions like radio tuner to help it stand apart from some other basic Bluetooth speakers but some people will never use that. The microphone functionality is also a very specific-use functionality that may be exactly what some people are looking for.
If you only want the Bluetooth function/durability, look into the VTIN R7 on Amazon. It is also 50W and starts at $70 but practically every other week has a $20 coupon you can clip to make it $50 which is a steal. They are water resistant and support multiple paired units for surround sound. That means for $10 more, you could have stereo sound with dual 50W speakers.
Again, every speaker is different and this one has some features that may be the perfect mix for people. If you are going in just for a good sounding, high watt Bluetooth speaker, this may not be the best bang for your buck.
EDIT: I just wanted to clarify that I'm not knocking this product at all. My wife is a teacher and this would actually be perfect for her with the microphone function. I only want to add perspective for those who may only focus on the "Bluetooth speaker" aspect of the product.
loudest Bluetooth speaker possible under $100?

I've had this product for about 2 years and it's been great. Great sound, subs as a public announcement system, charge holds well and it's not fragile (fell off a truck a few times) and still been great. Just ordered another one for the family.

Agreed. Before we installed a quality stereo and rv battery system in our van, we used this thing to listen to music on the drive and charge our cellphones at night too.

This Harbinger [musiciansfriend.com] adds a few more features and is a bit louder for a few more bucks on sale right now.
Thanks! I purchased the Harbinger. It looks to be perfect for my needs. Smilie

Those are super cheap for portable PA speakers. Wonder how they compare to a Behringer Europort MPA30 which is three times the price? None of these budget "PA" speakers is louder than a strong voice IMO.

I have the "job rocker" version of this speaker and love it. The battery lasts forever, the speaker quality is great, it's rugged as heck, and overall just pretty dang cool. Definitely recommend this brand in general
