Nice price. I mix Fancy Feast with higher quality food so my cats will eat it. They won't eat the "healthy" stuff on it's own, regardless of what brand it is. But Fancy Feast they gobble down like they are addicted to it.

My neighborhood is overrun with feral felines... I keep hoping they will go away, but that has not happened and they seem to fair well in the elements. My wife had me make a shelter for them outside for when there's snow or freezing rain, but none of the cats use it. Anyway, I know once you feed them, they likely will never go away..... *sigh* In for one. My hope is that they help minimize the vole problem.

my wife started feeding some kittens because she felt bad. There was 4 of them with the mother and one by one, they stopped showing up. We think they either got killed or died. However 1 remained and he would come every day at 6pm and just wait in our backyard for food. We wouldn't seem him all day, but at 6pm he would appear and just patiently wait in the middle of the backyard just sitting there. We ended up catching him because we felt so bad he wouldn't make it either. It was a good thing we did because when we did end up catching him, he had a belly full of worms. We got him treated and all cleaned up. He was super afraid of us, and it took a good year before we were even able to pet him without him running away. He's 3 years now and he's the biggest cuddle bug and lap cat. Sometimes feral cats are the best cats.

off topic... see if there is a local feral cat organization that will trap, spay/neuter, and release. then you have cats that seem to do well outside but won't turn into 100 cats.
