The brushless shit is out of control on here. People act as if brushed tools suddenly became shit because brushless tools exist.

None of them are brushless.

That vacuum is awesome. I have an earlier version (all white) and still going strong 8 years later. Great for quick pick ups.

Might as well go brushless for this kind of investment. The vacuum and light are fluff items.

You'll get one tool for that price, brushless for $299, maybe two, depending on quality and deal.
Kobalt 6 Tool brushless at Lowes was $200, is currently $269.

Not true. The Makita drill and driver BL combo with 2 batteries and charger was $125 at HD.

You DON"T NEED brushless unless you're a Pro using these tools everyday. Even then, I see old brush DeWalt tools used on many job sites.

I'm a weekender builder and my 9 piece Craftsman C3 19.2 volt tools have never let me down. I've bought all of my used tools on auction sites, craigslist, Facebook, etc. for a fraction of new prices. The only new tool I have bought is a Roybi 1/2 impact wrench that was on sell.

This set is a pretty good deal. And I could really use that vac. I have 2 sets of stairs where that vac would come in handy.
