Run it hard to test it, I've had a few so far and they've been fine

Would be better to spend this money on the new cards coming out soon.

Still on a 1080ti as it plays all my games still just fine.

Will look at the 3080ti vs 1080ti benchmarks when it's out and think about upgrading then.

Physical inspection for damaged parts then run it through a series of s/w tests and, if it passes, you box it up and put it back on the shelf. You can fix a bad fan or loose mechanical connection, but if it's a problem in hardware that only happens after n minutes at m degrees they're unlikely to catch the failure. I doubt there is any component-level checking or repair (like re-flow) going on.

I can find 2080ti's locally via craigslist for around 700ish? Is that a good deal?

I know the 3080 will be announced soon, but we still don't know the specs or price. AMD still doesn't have anything that can compete at the high end...I don't see NVIDIA lowering the price on the 3080's if they don't have to. So in a world where the top end 3000 series is still over $1,000....at what price point does a 2080ti become attractive...$600?

For an EVGA card with warranty left probably.

Sure it's fine now but if I buy this card, I'd expect it to last at least 3 years. If Zotac really stands behind their refurbished items why not give at least a year's worth of warranty?

Half-tempted to buy the AMP and either crypto mine or run hashcat on it for 2-4 weeks to see if it holds up.

This would be great for a custom watercooling setup since you'd void the warranty anyways
