Supports Link Aggregation (LAG only):
Static Manual LAGs (Port Trunking): Yes

And, for the USB ports:
2-port
10W maximum per port

It does support link aggregation. I purchased 2 during the last deal. In the settings, it breaks LAG groups into ports 1-4 and 5-8. You can use up to 4 ports in each of the 2 groups. I am using ports 1&2 on each switch for aggregation to my living room 4K equipment for streaming. Pro tip: set up the aggregation ports in settings and THEN plug in the second cable. Otherwise, the switch's loop protection will turn off one of the ports to prevent feedback loop between the two switches. Once you have it set up, it works really well.

This switch does support 802.1q vlan tagging, which can be very useful in some situations. Great price on an 8port unit with that option.

Prices in the last 1 month were $19.99 --> $16.99 --> $19.99 --> $14.99

Attached 3-month price history for more information.

Agreed. I got it a few weeks ago for $17 so $15 is even better. I use this as my core switch leveraging vlan tags to segment my main LAN, surveillance, guest wifi, and IoT devices. Can't be beat at this price.

Good price, especially for a managed switch,even it's very basic one. Recommended!

Too bad those 2 usb ports aren't a bit more powerful (like to be able to power a couple of raspberry pis). Either way, decent price.

I currently have tomato routers and I'd like to do a better job of separating my network (keep Amazon echo and google homes from access to cameras, for example), but need to enable specific types of traffic between vlans. I haven't really been able to do this with settings I've been able to find on Tomato.

I'm not sure if the managed features in this switch makes what I'm trying to do easier. Looks like it allows me to make more vlans, but not sure if managing traffic between them is any easier.

I use this directly to my Orbi as well as the comparable TP Link (8 port smart managed) directly to the Orbi satellite.

I have no found they both perform perfectly for my needs and the price which is to limit the wifi bandwidth on power hungry devices.

That said, the TP Link is more compact, but this visually is nicer to look at if you can't hide it. The TP Link oddly (stupidly) has the DC power jack on the opposite side of the ports so no way to make it look clean. I leave it hidden behind my TV.

I attempted to use it for downstream vlans with my Unifi setup, but was unable to get it to work. Googling the error message I got seemed to indicate it was a common problem that has not been addressed so I returned it. Are you using it by itself or with other 802.1q devices?
