Amazon Reports That There is a newer model of this item:

TP-Link Deco Whole Home Mesh WIFI System – Seamless Roaming, Adaptive Routing, Up to 5, 500 Sq. ... [amazon.com]
$149.99
In Stock.
Yeah, I'm debating between this which is an older model compared to the M4 which is newer but at a lower spec. It has 2 antennas versus 4 on the M5. And the M4 is slower on the 2.4GHz bandwidth compared to this model the M5.

the M5? or M4, M4 for some reason is "newer" though the specs seems to be slower than the M5 which is an older model.

Sorry for the confusion. I have the M5 3 pack. I think the M series goes up on specs based on the model. So the M4, regardless if newer, should be lower spec than the M5 set. They top out at the M9 set that Costco sells (for quite a bit more $)

I will say also the set-up on this is dead simple. Can't say it's more or less difficult than other mesh platforms, but given this was my first time experimenting I was astonished how I set up the whole thing in like 15 minutes.

Any comparison to the Netgear ac3000? I just bought that on the Newegg deal...the tplink looks better with three units instead of two...

Anyone know if this model supports multiple VLANs in AP mode? I'm finding some conflicting information on TP's website.
