Matches the price that Patagonia had a few weeks ago. Limited sizes in colors but I personally was looking for oxide red. Plus easy returns at Dicks if there is an issue. With gift cards and cash back there is an opportunity to save more.

Uniqlo doesn't list the fill power for the down which makes me think it would be in the 550 range. The Patagonia jacket is likely to be a MUCH higher quality, both in construction and warmth to weight ratio.

Picked up the oxide red yesterday & used a $20 off $100 that I had received in the mail. Had to chat with customers service to have it applied.

Dicks also has the nano puff on sale for under $100 if you are looking for a jacket to stay warm when it gets wet. A few more color options too (but none of the basic colors).
Thanks for the heads-up. Was on the fence but pulled the trigger on Oxide Red as well with the same $20 off coupon. Had to chat with CS but it was a quick and painless override of the Patagonia exemption.

For those without a coupon, I noticed a 20 off 100 for signing up for text alerts on the home page. Same exclusions apply but once you have your code in hand a chat with CS could prove just as fruitful.

Newer style is thinner and tighter on body, like sweater.
unlike the old school https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lt6KRKHpKhY nod

Not sure how this is better than the inqlo version though

Was also able to sign up for text alerts to get a $20 off $100 code. Had a brief online chat with customer service who pointed out the exclusion. I then told him that I have seen others online get it to apply and he was happy to oblige. I had to call in my credit card to finalize it but it was easy. Great deal for $94.50! Thanks OP & others

Same here - thanks for the tip! Was able to use $20 off via chat. Fingers crossed on the red color... also I'm a solid Medium in most brands but I got the Nano Puff Jacket in Medium and it was big, so hopefully the S works.

Similar points to what you were mentioning. I thought the color is not as bright as some of the other colors, so while it cant be worn to work, it can possibly be worn for casual wear and as you have mentioned, is really warm. Also from what I've heard, they have great warranty on their products, so I might keep it this time. But I'm still finding it hard justifying 150 bucks for any jacket lol
We've got several in my house. My teenage son wears his in all winter weather up to about 50 deg. I find them to be most comfortable between 20 and 50. An extra layer underneath helps for less than 20. Last year he did this in single digits and was ok. Me - I'm always cold. He's had his for 2 years and I've had mine for 5 with almost daily wear all fall and winter. Great quality. Paid full price on the last one. I'm not a brand snob and have cheap coats from Walmart and expensive name brands as well. Well worth it as it performs much better than any other jacket I own.

Have had my patagonia down sweater for about 6 years now, and have actually worn it while hiking in Patagonia!

Durability wise, I had one small hole appear on the waistband area, which was repaired for free by Patagonia (just dropped it off at a patagonia store and they took care of it). Zippers all still work great after 6 years, which is impressive considering how much I wear it. It's my go to mid-weight jacket when I'm traveling and folds into the inside pocket into a package about the size of a softball.

What do you mean by leak? They are not waterproof and should be worn under a shell if you are expecting rain.

Feathers.

From my experience with my Micropuff, it's minimal compared to down because it's artificial fill and doesn't have quills to poke out, but some full does make its way out somehow.

Edit: Whoops sorry thought I was in another thread. This is the down version so leakage of feathers is comparable to other brands. I think if you lost enough though Patagonia may try to work with you to remedy.
