This is not the true 10th Generation i7. Its the 14nm variant. True 10th gens end with G7 for i7 and G5 for i5 if I am not mistaken

It is still a 10th gen processor, it just doesn't use the new nanometer technology. This particular processor actually offers better base clock and turbo clock speeds than the 10nm variants. The 10nm variants will likely offer better overall battery efficiency.

Overall this seems like a great powerhouse offering from Lenovo and the metal chassis is a plus. The only downside is the lack of dedicated graphics, but this is more designed towards business and not gaming; you will still be able to do basic AutoCAD functionality if needed and light gaming when bored.

Yes, speaking of graphics, this one is missing....Intel® Iris® Plus Graphics which is a big plus without any dedicated graphics.

^^This! Thanks for explaining it clearly. The difference is graphics performance is very large for a system without any dedicated graphics card
