Key word Quartz. Good quartz movement but really busy for me. IMO.

Aren't precisionist movements good for quartz? Not all quartz are the same. It's also absolutely pretentious to think watches aren't worth getting if they're not automatic.
That aside, the watch is 46mm which is going to be too big unless you have 8" wrists.

262kHz quartz is 8 times the vibrational frequency of a std quartz movement so it is crazy accurate. The precisionist movement also has a sweeping second hand, unlike a std quartz movement. It's a neat looking piece, but theres not enough contrast between the dial and hands and that's a deal breaker for me. It's not a glance and go piece for me.

99/100 I'd agree with you, but as far as quartz watches go, the Bulova Precisionist is awesome.

Accurate to within 10 seconds a year and a sweeping hand with smoothness only rivaled by a GS Spring Drive. It's really a special movement.

This watch is a bit too big and busy for my tastes though.

The precisionist movement is actually pretty cool. The second hand sweeps like an auto.
The watch is not my style, and you're insane if you think this is really 73% off.

The close up pictures look a lot less busy than the thumbnail implies..if I had the cash I'd be all over this. I'd replace the straps with NATO ones.
