I have six dogs and used to pay $40 for the focus dog food under Pro Plan. I was part of the appropriate club and got checks for sending in the upc's. Now you send in your receipt on their website and they give you points. Once you reach 7000 points you can get a Visa card to use for your dog food. However I switch to Purina One chicken and rice as it's cheaper. The cheapest place to get dog food is Target and I wait till they have there $5 gift cards if you spend $25. I paid $21 for 16 pounder and get a couple of packages of cookies to equal to $25. I walk out of there with a $5 gift card.

Yes, the oldest dog food company with the most published scientific research out there. Dog shit. Educate yourself and don't just believe everything you read on the internet about grain free

So you pay $1 per pound of food after the gift card compared to this deal of $.75 per pound of food?

I recommend you do your research. I use to think the same thing till I lost my dog to DCM. There is only about 5 companies not having issues linked to DCM. Purina is one of them. I wouldn't go with the cheap one but the Purina Pro Plan has proven to Improve/eliminate nutritional based DCM.

Great price on a good diet. Purina does food trials, they are a reputable company. I would recommend this diet to any of my clients who have dogs without special needs.

Ask any vet and they will tell you different. I used to feed my lab merrick and acana which are much more expensive and not only do they have cases of DCM, my dog looks healthier on the purina. Don't be fooled by these boutique dog food companies that have unnecessary ingredients making you think your dog is eating healthier.

Heads up, Petco has $10 off $30 currently. Coupon expires tomorrow (2/29/20) and you can price match Chewy at the store + stack the coupon. Extra $10 off.

Coupon is in this SD post.
