Not returnable. Get a TV with a bad panel...dont expect Samsung to fix it. They could say...its NORMAL....like they did to me. but i had costco...so I returned it. ha ha ha...not all panels are created equal.

1. If opened and/or used, the following merchandise is non-returnable & not sold on a trial basis

Bought the 55" doing black friday. Not so bright and drag while watching 4k movies. Had to return them.

Pretty solid - this TV was a frontpage deal back in October from BuyDig at $1269 w/ free shipping. I bought at that price even though I'd seen deals for Frys in-store for less ($1149, B&M only, no locations near me). TV is great btw

Highly recommend this website. Got my 75 inches 4series TCL for 400. Make sure you go to it through a cash back website for 1.5% cb. If you have a promotion from PayPal, make sure you use it.

If you replace your MU8000 you will lose your one connect mini which Samsung now uses only in their flagship TVs nowdays

Is this a good deal or should I wait? I was hoping to find a decent 75" under 1000$ from a reputable brand like LG or Samsung. I was about to buy the Samsung NU6080 from Costco for 800$, so this is about 200$ more.

This is easily worth it. Excellent picture quality for the money. I'd personally either get this, or a TCL 6 series 75" if it was on sale for cheaper. I'm currently rocking an old KS8000 and still loving it. I haven't seen the RU8000 in person, but rtings seems to rate it well

LG only makes good OLED tvs.. and I'm sure you dont want to pay for a 77" oled lg

Can't speak to this deal but I have a 3 to 4 year old 70" LG and a one year newer 65" LG. With great inputs they both perform admirably. IMO 4k is going to look stellar on almost any 4K capable TV. The difference is typically only seen on high motion things from non 4k sources (football for example). The 65 is goodish and the 70 is horrible. Probably has something to do with advancements year to year. The sources matter. I have an OTA antenna which is the best local HD you can get. CBS, which is 1080i here I believe is almost unwatchable on the 70. The ball looks as if it's disappearing while going through the air. I'm not LG bashing, for me it was a great deal relative to the dollar but I probably wouldn't buy another and would lean Samsung or Sony.

For entry and budget level TVs their is no reputable brand because LG and Samsung mostly use Chinese panels to get the price as low as their competitors. The Samsung Q70 and up are all using Samsung Display's panels. Below the Samsung Q70 you are playing the panel lottery so make sure the TV is easy to return.
