Got this Vizio home theatre system at my local costco warehouse for $149.99. YMMV as online still showing price @ $199.99. This is the lowest price i have seen for the new item.

Few boxes includes 3 months of TIDAL HiFi subscription.

Thanks OP.

Inquired at my local Costco, was told the $149 price is a $50 instant rebate deal that's good until March 9th.

Been running this model for about a year. Sound quality is fantastic, but many people (including myself) struggle with inconsistent audio syncing. It's very frustrating when it happens, there seems to be no fix, and so I'm considering a new soundbar. Google around and you'll see how common it is. Good luck!

I just bought this yesterday and I notice this already. I noticed this when i cast program from my phone. If I run netflix directly from TV I am not seeing the issue but when casted from video i see the issue all the time. By the way what you do to resolve it when that happens?

This soundbar is The Wirecutter's budget pick in soundbars (https://thewirecutter.com/reviews...oundbar/).

Disappointing to hear that people are getting audio issues with it. The Wirecutter actually mentioned in their roundup that they were hearing about more people having issues.

There is no permanent fix. If you power cycle the soundbar, it gets back in sync but it WILL eventually get out of sync again. This is over HDMI. I've heard/read that using optical for audio fixes this issue.

It was a temporary solution for me and I ended up selling it...but if I had to deal with this long term I would throw it out the window. Other than that, the sound quality was excellent.

I bought one of these a while back and it's currently sitting unplugged on my t.v. I'm using my stock t.v. speakers instead of this thing because it sometimes did not connect to my PS4 or my HDMI t.v. -- the sound wasn't working until I power cycled it.

I think I paid $100 for this system as well.

Decent sound but I wish I had a better system that worked all the time no matter how long it's been turned off.

I have the $300 Dolby Atmos version of this soundbar set. Had similar issues but here's how I fixed it:

1. disable the power saving feature... You should be able to do this with the included remote but easier in the app. This is the main culprit IMO.

2. set it up for WiFi and download the Vizio SmartCast app to make sure power saving is disabled and automatic updates enabled. Fine tune the other settings to your liking.

3. This soundbar has an HDMI IN port. I didn't realize it until recently but you should connect your most used device (PS4/set top box/fire stick/etc) into the HDMI IN port of the soundbar and make sure the soundbar is connected to the HDMI port on your TV that is HDMI ARC enabled.
