Should probably switch the order in the title. I saw the 86" and $1,199 and was let down to see it's for the 75".
It's not a mistake. Mods started doing it a few years or so ago. It's an effective strategy to get more clicks onto threads. Notice iconian said it was fixed but on FP it's still presented as you stated. Look at the OLED post that just hit front page. It's the same way but someone messed up and have it baiting the smaller size first with title and showing the bigger size price.

For what I lost in the stock market this week I can buy 12 86 inchers. This makes me want to vomit.
Is no joke, my IRA/401k evaporated 20%+ this week. I made some really hard decisions today, hopefully it's not permanent.

So while I am still looking at 75"+ TVs my motivational factor to actually buy one dropped 100%

The market was in such a free fall all other discretionary purchases went out the window. Hope the bleeding stops next week. Until then I'm going play bittersweet symphony on repeat and cry in a corner.

Why on Earth did you sell? It will eventually recover. If you haven't sold, then you haven't lost anything.

Did you mean you "lost" imaginary money?

There is nothing imaginary about it.

I have a small room and bought an X900F 85". First days I was so amazed by how big it is and video gaming to me was next level. Now after 1 month, when I play fast motion games such as rocket league or racing games, I feel like I get a headache or more like nausea feeling because it bothers my vision! It's not very harsh but still something to consider when you buying a large tv and have small bedroom. My previous tv was LG OLED B7 65" which I solely sold it because I felt it's small.
How big is your room? I'm looking at getting the same TV. I had the 82" nu8000 but hated the quality. I have a 65" oled c8 now and looking at the 85" 900f

This isn't thread relevant.... I don't know if he sold... but I did. If it keeps going down, then I'll feel better about it. I'll have an opportunity to pick stuff back up cheaper, maybe make up my losses. But if it rebounds 2000% next week (not likely) I will cry. I don't think the pending .5 interest rate cut is going to make a huge diff. But this is a big correction that was coming anyway on top of the coronavirus ace in the hole. Time to think more conservatively I think. What I don't understand is why my utilities and medical stuff also took it in the ass, one wouldn't think it. Could just be the whole market sliding off the cliff and nothing could hold on.

Market is all witchcraft and voodoo anyway.

I am interested in this TV. I currently have a HiSense 4k cheepo and when a show fades to black, I can still see all my furniture there is so much bleed. I want a nice TV. So I'm following this thread.

On the subject of the economy, the stock market took a dive on SARS, and all the other scares. Go look at the crash in 2008. Those who don't learn from history are condemned to repeat it. Don't sell unless you have to. It will come back, probably this year.

This is a bait and switch. Even if it's in the main heading
You're on a deal website getting deals for free. No one baited you. If you don't like the title move on.

Agreed. The seller is Beach Camera and they have been around for a long time, they are reputable.

Maybe he was just talking about the subject title thinking the 86" was $1199. Nope that's the 75", if it was the 86" I would have bought it despite the stock market madness.

This seems like a phenomenal deal on the 86". About $700 cheaper than anywhere else, and beachcamera is definitely reputable. I've seen front page deals where you save three bucks that get more attention than this (so far). It's interesting.
