What can I use to justify a 86 inch tv?

This isn't thread relevant.... I don't know if he sold... but I did. If it keeps going down, then I'll feel better about it. I'll have an opportunity to pick stuff back up cheaper, maybe make up my losses. But if it rebounds 2000% next week (not likely) I will cry. I don't think the pending .5 interest rate cut is going to make a huge diff. But this is a big correction that was coming anyway on top of the coronavirus ace in the hole. Time to think more conservatively I think. What I don't understand is why my utilities and medical stuff also took it in the ass, one wouldn't think it. Could just be the whole market sliding off the cliff and nothing could hold on.

Market is all witchcraft and voodoo anyway.
I've never invested before. When would be a good time to invest, and what financial service would be good to use?
I figure I'd throw some cash in the pile when it gets lower, and wait for a return or something.

Slick deals probably isn't great place to come to for financial advice on your investments.

Buy puts. Buy calls. Short the market. Long the market. Just a little bit of everything. Anyone object?

Been waiting for either a good deal on the 8 or 9 series. Finally pulling the trigger on this. Wanted LG due to Dolby and having Bluetooth remote since I'll have multiple TVs in the same room.

Edit: 75inch

I can't find the review on rtings.. anyone have a link?
Yeah. Hard to find much in terms of quality of this TV. I have no idea how it compares to the other 80+ inch tvs in the $1,700-2,200 range

You really believe that shit that this market correction is from the Corona virus scare! Look at when zika, Ebola etc, was a scare, the market went up
If everyone was truly terrified wouldn't they be spending their money.

Is no joke, my IRA/401k evaporated 20%+ this week. I made some really hard decisions today, hopefully it's not permanent.

So while I am still looking at 75"+ TVs my motivational factor to actually buy one dropped 100%
Hopefully you sold your bonds and bought more stock. It's like buying stocks on sale. A nice dip in the market is like getting all your stocks on SD. Besides, what's it matter with your 401k unless you're retiring next month.

How big is your room? I'm looking at getting the same TV. I had the 82" nu8000 but hated the quality. I have a 65" oled c8 now and looking at the 85" 900f
This is my house layout:

I think it's 10'x11' not entirely sure but i have a king size bed in it and the tv is in front of it. We have a 75" lg pua7080 in the living room and it's quite enough. I think 75" should be the most versatile size. It's not definitely small, and it's not that big to bother your eyes.

Should probably switch the order in the title. I saw the 86" and $1,199 and was let down to see it's for the 75".

This seems like a phenomenal deal on the 86". About $700 cheaper than anywhere else, and beachcamera is definitely reputable. I've seen front page deals where you save three bucks that get more attention than this (so far). It's interesting.
I think this is pretty close to where I stand with this. I'm still trying to find reviews, but I haven't found a seller I'm familiar with offering this at under $2875 for 86". Hard to argue with that. But I'm just having trouble finding out how it compares to the Samsung Ru8000 for $1800, the Sony X850 for 2300, samsung q60 for 2000, etc.
