I just got the ported 12" THX sub for $565 on Amazon. Brand new but took a lot of work. Originally ordered in July 2019 on Prime Day. Waited 2 months and they canceled order. Had to email, chat and call but got them to put in writing when it came back in stock at Amazon they would sell to me for that price. Well, it came back in stock finally a couple weeks ago and I had it delivered to my door last week. Finally moved it into place but sold my old sub and receiver so now have to wait for new receiver to arrive before I can check it out.
I actually just bought the 10-s off Amazon yesterday for $375.68 plus tax. I came here and posted the deal. I went back to buy another and it was back to $553. I was waiting for a cancelation email too but it's actually arriving tomorrow. I saw this deal on monoprice but honestly wouldn't buy through them directly because they charge shipping on returns and I didn't want to risk being on the hook for returning a 55lb subwoofer. I have a svs p1000 right now and the sound does blend in rather nicely with an 7.1.2 polk lsim setup. But it's only a 14x11 room and the pb1000 is so big. I think a sealed would work fine in a room this size so I'm checking it out. If it sounds good, I can buy another one down the road. I definitely don't have room for 2 pb1000's though.

I bought 2x of the Rel HT/1205s when they went on sale for $599 each.

60 day free returns.

They are amazing IMO:

I second the question. Any appreciable difference between this and the SB2000 which was also $600 a few weeks back? ($650 currently)

Specs on those seem good, but doesn't seem as good as the monolith.

also they are super ugly with that ridiculous top plate.

I have the sb2000 in my office and i just recieved the m10-s today for a room of similar size.. So far I am very impressed by the m10-s. To me, it sounded a lot like the sb200 but with slam. It is crazy clear and acurate and it'll hit 20hz with no problem. The svs is a great sub and their customer service is second to none. But pound for pound the monolith wins. It's got the one thing I've been missing with the sb2000. That chest kick from time to time. Svs's customer service is baked into their price which makes them a little high for what you get. But the monolith is built like a small tank and the amp was designed by Clarity. It's high quality stuff in terms of components and cabinetry. But I've read some scary stories about the control of that quality. Thats where the svs wins. Sometimes good electronics are defective. I get that. But as long as customer service takes care of you its fine. Svs stands behind there product and it shows. Apples to apples I'd go with the monolith. And I'm talking about the 10 inch. I'm confident this 12 inch would be even better.

You are right, every time I walk by them I freak out. My wife does the same and comments the same. LMAO

I leave the driver covers off as the CF is sexy.

Looking forward to seeing the M12-S gaining the praise that the Rel HT1205 has.

Do people use these for home theater systems or in night clubs?

I'm really thinking about getting the PB-2000 pro. Unless I get my 1000 watt, RMS 3600 peak Sledge amp I bought off eBay working. Then I'll build a box and buy a 15" tymphany sub.

I really like that the PB-2000 pro is compatible with the SVS Bluetooth app like the SVS 3000 and 4000 series.

I'm wondering how these are better than the subwoofers available from Hsu research? Even at this sale price, the flexibility of Hsu subs seems superior.
