The Amazon Amex Business Card is offering $100 in instant signup bonus (amazon gc) upon approval (no spending required). If you're a Prime member, the bonus is $125. Free $125 in Amazon gift card just for signing up.

This is a business credit card so it doesn't count towards 5/24 rule if you're a credit card enthusiast. In other words, this card won't show up in your personal credit report, however, there will be a hard pull on your credit score.

You'll earn:
5% Back (with eligible Prime membership) or 3% Back (without eligible Prime membership) for each $1 of eligible purchases made at a designated Amazon property when the % Back rewards option applies.
2% Back for each $1 spent on eligible purchases in the following rewards categories: U.S gas stations, U.S. restaurants, and wireless telephone services purchased directly from U.S. service providers.
1% Back for each $1 spent on other eligible purchases.

Spend total of $3000 in first 3 months, and get another $100 in statement credit.

I have seen $150 in Amazon GC offer on this card but this seems to be a better deal for a no annual fee card if you plan on keeping the card for year round 5% back on Amazon.

Can someone with this card confirm that this card indeed does not show up on your personal credit report. I have the AMEX SimplyCash Business card & that card does indeed show up on your personal credit report.

But doe is count as an AMEX card, as you can only have 5 AMEX credit cards at a time, or is this a credit card just using the AMEX network, such as WF's Propel card?

This DOES count as one of your five core Amex cards. When I log into Amex, it shows up with my Blue and my Everyday cards.

It does NOT appear on my personal report. Also, it's a metal card, if that matters to you.

What does "% Back rewards option applies" mean? Is this better than the Amazon signature visa card?

I don't want to be nit picky, but it's not $200 in cash back if $100 is a gift card

Depends if it is a credit card or if it is a charge card.

You are limited to 5 AMEX credit cards per SSN regardless if it's business or personal, not including other brands simply utilizing the AMEX network (e.g. Wells Fargo Propel, FNBO TravElite, etc.) or charge cards (AMEX Platinum, Gold, etc.). I was asking if this AMEX Amazon card is Amazon's card using the network, or if it'll take one of the 5 credit cards slots allowed for AMEX.
