Sonos Play:1 Wi-Fi Speaker, Black, 2-pack - Costco.com...$199.97 plus tax with free shipping

Costco.com is selling these two packs for under $200...well, by three cents. I think these are the older models...new ones are selling for $330/pair at Costco.

I've attached links for both colors...white or black...same price.

I know sonos has been having issues with software obsolescence...I'm not going to get into it as I'm pretty ignorant about the whole issue. I'm sure there are plenty of resources online.

Great deal on these if you're looking to buy 2. Sonos is having their refurb sale for the same price!

Great deal, but as OP said some products in the ecosystem will loose support May 2020. It does not appear that the Play:1 is included from what I can see but Play:5 of the same generation is. This may lead to the eventual exclusion of Play:1 which may cause the devices to be security concerns in the future.

Good deal on good sounding streaming speakers. These can be paired for stereo sound. Keep in mind that there is no audio input jack (power and ethernet are the only physical connections). You'd need another $$$ piece of Sonos equipment to get line-in through these.
Two of these sound better than one Play:3. I have Play:5, Play:3, and 2x Play:1.

Play:1 doesn't have voice commands built in. (No Alexa or Google). For some people, that's a plus. For others, it's a deal breaker. One of the most frequently used features of the Sonos in our house is, "Alexa, play top 40 hits/jazz/etc." This one would only play on the Sonos app. On the other hand, if you use them as parts of a surround system, then the sound bar can take over the voice command function. We have 10 Sonos speakers in the house.

Play1 is definitely not included. They certainly could do that, but I'd guess Play1 is far and away their most deployed speaker.

I have quite a few play 1s also. True they don't have voice commands but if you have a dot or google home you can easily integrate Alexa to play music through your Sonos players.

These have been at this price at Costco since before black Friday. Also, refurbs of these available directly from Sonos at the same price (full warranty, free shipping)
