Is there any deal for the 85 inch?
Second this. By the way Fry's has this 75" Sony X900F for $1,299 delivered today. I went to the store and it is a little too small for my taste with 10' viewing distant (I have really bad eyes)

I'm looking really closely at this deal but I've never used Greentoe before. Can anyone explain how reliable the site is? Are there any caveats? Any difficulties returning items? Etc.

If this has already been explained or documented elsewhere, a link is fine too Smilie
They are ok, but it isn't as good as Cameltoe. Nothing beats that.

The 75" x950g is 1949 on greentoe....Can anyone speak from personal experience if the 500 savings or 500 extra is worth it for the upgrade?
900 has very little DSE. 950 will have more DSE. 900 is solid tv...

But...but..but..

Tv prices are dropping like crazy..Costco is blowing out prices lower than prior year for same
models....its real crazy right now....I might wait...probably will drop to 1200 or less.

Agreed. Hoping to see the LG C9 and/or Samsung Q80/90s dip a little lower. It will happen this month or next.

Only thing is, this is a 2018 model, so I'd imagine there are only so many of this specific TV left.

Plenty of good reviews from greentoe. There just a sellers agent. You'll get an order from a Sony authorized seller and the purchase will be made through that seller. I've never bought anything using greentoe but I've only read good things. No reason to worry from what I can tell.

The issue is not Greentoe...you get a TV for the price. The issue is that if get a TV with some worse DSE...returning it is not as easy as going to Costco (like I did) and drag that tv back.

The technicians said my Tv was normal...but the DSE sucked. And it probably is normal...but it still sucked. So back in the box...at costco...and I got a hot dog and pepsi for 1.50.

Costco return policy...no questions asked. no need to give up your first born. No long hours on the phone with technical support. 90 day returns.

You pay more at Costco...so you can return without hassles. Too many TV's are made with some without good uniformity...others with bad...all within specs...

Pain in the ass to return a TV...

Open Box/Demo unit or New for $1299?

Online shows open box/demo for 1299.

It's solid TV but has dse in center. Distracting. Some of Samsung sets have DSE in center. Sony 900 is better for dse. Depends if u like hockey or soccer where dse can be so annoying.

I bought Samsung 740d at Costco. It's 499. Got it since it has no dse. Costco does not sell the 900. Only the 850 which sucks for contrast. It's ups panel.

I got the 65 inch since I have a projector so you really enjoy TV at 120 inch. Not all the time. Get eye fatigue with bigger screen all the time. 65 for regular TV.. 120 inch for movies and the walking dead

I bought a 75" Samsung Q70 from Greentoe 4 months ago for $1499. The reseller was a huge seller located in Nashville, TN - that does a ton of selling on Rakuten.

Also, from what I have read, most of the resellers are LARGE resellers who are trying to move overstock inventory and are willing to break even or take a small loss.

Shipping company was SEKO - a rather large shipper of TVs and appliances.

Best part - no sales tax or shipping charged. What you agree on for price is what you pay.

Greentoe asks that no one shares who the sellers are in online forums so I will abide by that.

I'd recommend. Shipping took 3 weeks but it was around the Holidays so I expected a delay.

What do you guys do for warranty ? I am really scared to step out of Costco/best buy for any TV shopping !

Edit: Any idea about the distance between the TV stands ? I have 5 feet TV table.
You can still purchase square trade from costco but instead of being 5 years is only 4. 1st year manufacturer and 3 years from square trade.

This doesnt support homekit or airplay though thats what holding me back..
Why would you want airplay or HomeKit support when you can just buy an Apple TV? I think it's a mistake to get something integrated into a TV that needs an upgrade every 2-3 years like Apple TV, FireTv or even Roku
