USB-C means this can accept display input from any compatible smartphone as well?

Good point, it should IMO. I have a monitor with USB c input, I can not test it right now as I am out, will update in evening.

My GPU also has a USB C port so I thought it is for that, but if my phone can connect to a TV with USB c to HDMI, i am hoping it should work with monitor as well.

It worked, did not work with cable which came with pixel. I had one certified for thunderbolt and it worked fine using S10.

Looking for a monitor primarily for games (Roblox, Fortnite etc) for my kid but occasional regular purpose as well. Is this a good deal or any other monitor that can serve the purpose?

At the same price, I'm leaning towards the AOC with 1440p at 144Hz. I think at 27" the resolution is better.

I didn't used to think there was a big difference in resolution, but I was just given a 27" monitor at work, and at 1080p, I find that I still prefer to do most of my work on the 24". Having them side by side, I do see a difference in text quality.

Wow. This appears to be almost too good to be true. 1440p, 144hz, 1ms, curved, frameless, and VA panel. Would prefer bigger than 27 but at this price... Thanks and Repped!

I'd go for the aoc someone posted. It's a good brand with better value and is more future proof when/if y'all start getting into 1440p gaming.

You can probably save a few bucks going 24" but I myself prefer 27".

Nice, you never really get a bad deal at Costco.
