Amazon has the veterinary use version tissue adhesive [3M's] (tissue safe super glue to close wounds) for $11.15 after clipping the 40% off first S&S coupon on product page and places a first Subscribe & Save order of it.

I'm not suggesting non vet usages, but one can read on J&Js similar human product Dermabound here: https://www.aafp.org/afp/2000/0301/p1383.html
And an overview here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29923841 [One can also see the Amazon reviews for what I'm not suggesting.]

Was there on both of my accounts with Prime memberships. (Added picture to the original post, but will change it to YMMV)

IDK I changed it to YMMV. One account has recently bought some similar items, but the other account has been mostly idle. Been reviewing my inventory of items that would by handy to have if it becomes necessary to stay home for an extended time and this was in my price watch cart list on one account (but not the other).

I used to do that, but was advised against it by medical pros. The chemicals are an irritant to skin. Lately I have been using liquid bandage from CVS. Not as strong as SuperGlue, but not irritating my skin. Had I gotten the Unicorn coupon mentioned, I would try this stuff. No love for me (er, uhm my pets) though.

Yes, unicorn it seems. I'm hoping at least one other spots it. This Vetbond's been on my list a while.

This stuff (https://www.amazon.com/Mastisol-M...006TKM2JC/ ) helps those 3M Steri-Strips stay in place but does not work directly on wound.

Got the coupon and cut myself often enough . . . I mean my cat does??? -- that it would be good to have on hand.

I didn't get a coupon either but I rarely do. I use S&S a lot, for regular stuff. I guess they feel they don't need to market to me.

Have you ever looked around a pet supply store? I would also never point out that they sell, on the shelves, amoxicillin, penicillin, tetracycline, and various other capsules to use in fish tanks. Many medical supplies get a new label with an animal on it and go in the pet store for a lot cheaper. I mean, for animal use of course. No need for expensive prescriptions if your tetras get ick.

3 times I've had a cat get a abscess from a claw/bite wound that left a nasty gaping hole where you could stick your finger under the skin and see muscle and all 3 times they did 3 things. Shot, shave hair and send me home with a bottle of vetericyn and left the wound open. Told me to keep hair out of it and it'll be fine. All 3 cases the skin slowly grew back together from dollar coin sized holes to fully healed. They said closing the wound would allow bacteria to fester and as long as no new signs of infection appeared it was best to leave it open.

As far as people go, I've used superglue many times just fine.
