Saw this at my Local Wally.. Decent price. .25 cents per pound.

You'll need to go to the store in most areas. Seems the website won't let you order for store pickup

Is this in store only? I don't see any way to add to cart for store pickup. Thanks.

This is the worst charcoal I have ever used. Produces tons of smoke, 1/3 of the chimney is gone by the time the coals are ready and then they burn FAST. Im left with tons of ash when finished. This stuff is garbage.

That's interesting. I would say all of that about Kingsford blue bag nowadays. I've always like Royal Oak's briquettes.

Same. I use the orange bagged royal oak now. Kingsford is garbage.

Curious, does it work well? Biochar, in general, I mean.

I have done a side by side comparison on raised beds and the one with bio-char seems to produce more. Enough more to were this year I am adding to all 8 raised beds.

Interesting! Thanks!

What's your take on new/used coffee grounds in soil? Better or worse than biochar? Tried both at the same time?

Interesting take. Are you sure it was the all natural and not the red bag briquettes? I got the red bags from the last Lowe's deal and had the same problems, but in the past have used the all natural and had no issues.

If your local Lowes still has some in stock, this is $1.99 in our location (but out of stock) https://www.lowes.com/pd/Royal-Oa...1000175405

I've always used Kingsford in the past and I thought it was ok. I switched to Royal Oak last year and from my experience the steak I cook using the RO seems to have more of the charcoal taste (which I actually don't really like). I have never used natural lump charcoal before which I'm incline to try soon.
