Read this:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hand_sanitizer

"The alcohol in hand sanitizers may not have the 10–15 seconds exposure time required to denature proteins and lyse cells in too low quantities (0.3 ml) or concentrations (below 60%). In environments with high lipids or protein waste (such as food processing), the use of alcohol hand rubs alone may not be sufficient to ensure proper hand hygiene."

to kill some viruses, it's 90%

HTH.

basically slap a big load on and rub hands for over 15 seconds to kill bacteria. viruses? forget it..

not one official has said to use this stuff.

all have said to wash your hands with soap and water.. I rest my case your honor.

nobody on TV will say this for fear of their masters..

also, why aren't the hand sanitizer companies marketing this like crazy on TV? I wonder why....

Wipes that contain a ton of alcohol or bleach etc. If you don't move the stuff off your hands it must totally kill it otherwise you're fooling yourself..better to not touch your face in-between washing hands with soap and water for 30 seconds..

Sure soaps work better, but this is for when you can't wash your hands with soap, and 70% alcohol works better to kill viruses than 90%
I think the more alcohol the better. It seems at 90% and greater is effective for viruses.

I don't think hand sanitizer really work that well to be honest. Maybe at 90% alcohol? Soap and water is best because it literally washes the crap away off your hands and down the sink if you wash long enough. I foresee another massive scandal about these products coming AGAIN soon...

just Google them for yourselves..
Yeah. I wish I could be like this. Maybe if you believe what you say really hard, it will be true one day. How different percentages of alcohol solution kills various microorganisms is well studied. It turns out a higher percentage is worse.
