T-Mobile: BOGO BYOD wearable line (or tablet line, mobile Internet, or syncDrive lines) YMMV

Be gentle, first deal post here. A store employee mentioned this to me and I could not find it here nor online.

T-Mobile has a promo going on allowing you to get a second wearable/tablet/sync line free when you add a wearable line or tablet line. You don't have to buy the watch or tablet with T-Mo, just add existing devices.

E.g. I added a smartphone line to the Apple Watch 4 and got a second line for a tablet for free. Wearable line is $10 after autopay ($15 otherwise) and tablet is $20 for unlimited, so you would still pay $10, but there is also a 2GB LTE tablet plan for $10/month which is free when you add a watch for example. You can mix and match wearable, tablet or sync devices as you like. In store and online. I ordered via chat.
  • Update: The document number for the BOGO promotion is 457861 (for CSR)
  • Stacks with other promos if you buy devices from T-Mo.
  • Seems to work with various plans: One, Military, ...
  • Buy one get one lines for (you can mix and match as well)
    • wearable devices (smartwatches $10 after autopay)
    • syncdrive lines ($10 after autopay)
    • 2GB LTE tablet lines ($10 after autopay)
    • Mobile Internet (hotspots)
    • Tablet lines (unlimited $20 after autopay)

This is actually a pretty good deal as they normally dont have tablets for free and you could do the $10 2gb tablet and get unlimited on the second pretty not bad.

I think they have a similar deal for the actual watch. The galaxy watch you get the second for free, for Apple you get $200 off the second: https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/deals-hub

You would not the get the unlimited for free but only pay $10 then. That said, if you add 2 unlimited tablet lines, maybe you get one for free, I don't know.

Thanks for the heads up. Just contacted them on T-force on twitter and can confirm it's an active promo. Adding an apple watch and ipad line now.

This promo stacks, too. The other day in-store I got my daughter the timex family connect watch for free after $8/mo device payment credit(another promo). Pay $10/mo for service on that after $5 autopay discount. The rep then gave me a free 2GB MI line using this promo on top. I just got it on a SIM for now as I didn't have plans for the line just yet.

Has anyone found the full terms? What would be the common rules for a promo like this for canceling lines before or after?

I would like to add two tablet lines.

If you cancel one you will have to pay for the other.

Likely not. With all of these promos you will have to add a line, but discount existing ones.

Contact them and ask. I would not know why not. I am on the "One" plan.
