Thanks Jonny! Hope you're staying safe. I appreciate you starting the thread.

I guess if they don't do something about our ecbs, I will try to shop this week.

I may may be the only one.

You won't be. With only 1 case in our county so far, granddaughter and I are planning on going. With over $300 over 3 cards I told her she can just blow her ECB's on whatever she wants and not worry about trying to roll so I can see a lot of Doritos and nail polish in our future.

Nope, I will be there, too! We have plenty of cases here in the DC area but I also have over $500 EB's spread over 5 cards.

I will likely go too, although I am trying to make small changes to the way I shop.
This past week, I printed the CRTs at home that I planned to use in store, so that I only needed to scan my card(s) once each just to get the generics.
I am trying to roll out and spend down as much as possible, to a minimum of 2 weeks out.
I am trying to plan as much as possible before going to the store, so that I have to spend less time in store trying to put together my transactions.

Sad to say, I'm not sure how much those steps actually helped, since I think my shops this week took about as long as usual. Hopefully I will do a better job this week shortening up my CVS shops.

I actually blew almost $40 today, which might be a record for me.

Yes, I think ya'll might have more cases than we do. We're up to 62 cases in Austin as of the report a few minutes ago.

I've been changing things up too.

While I didn't print my CRTs at home, I did go to print CRTs on one day, they used them the next day. Having looked at the ad at home, I did have a deal prepared on Sunday to do the cash card. The only problem with that is I was in the store almost every day for a little while.

I then sort and play what if's at home before I go, picking the CRTs out of my stack that I'm interested in using, or writing out the deals I want to do.

I've also started adding a 'goal' amount I want to spend down, and write down a list of things I could use that they have. Unfortunately, there are few food products left at the stores near me that we would be likely to eat. I would kind of prefer to shop at only this one store to reduce exposure, but I'll be out of creative ideas pretty soon.

While at first I thought it was just other people using their ecbs on food, I've seen plenty of people just buying things CVS has partly because a) they're there and b) CVS is not nearly as crowded as the grocery stores near me.

One thing I did this week was purposely avoid other people. If I was in an aisle and someone walked into it, I would walk away. I feel like this led me to spend a little extra time in store, but I'd like to think it was a preventative measure.

I keep hoping CVS will make some sort of announcement about how they'll help those of us who have ecbs this week. Sunday would be excellent, but Monday would be great. I will check here, cvs dot com and their FB page before I leave the house.

Thank you, Jonny. You are the best! worship

If your store doesn't have the sanitizer up front to wipe your cart down, then bring your own.

There are a lot of good deals this week.. There are $4 Aleve coupons in this week's inserts -- it will be an awesome deal if you have a pain CRT.

The Glucerna snacks and treats are included in the deal, according to the website.

I am not sure if the $20/60 hair CRT is even worth using this week.

There are indeed a lot of good deals that I would do in a heartbeat in different times. I've been trying to work my ebcs down for months and I FINALLY got all but a buck rolled with last week's $20/$100 deal and in the process worked off over $100 on my card.

I think right now, it's better for me to not go into cvs. I have a feeling that there are going to be lots of employees testing positive in the days to come and cvs should do the right thing and put a notice on their website that ecb expirations will be extended if we choose to shop later.

I have a $12 beauty buck that isn't printed (from the $20/$$100 that I did last week). Online shows it exp 4/10, so if I print that on 4/10, will I have until 4/17 to use it? (2 day grace if I go instore, no grace if I print at home)?

I am always completely out of doing ECBs. Just checked this morning and $15 is going to expire in a couple of days.

Went online to the CVS ad, click the link for Gillette razors and I get candy. The site is still coded terribly. But sometimes it's weirdly hilarious.
