If you got the $10/30 Maybelline & Garnier CRT.. it could be a hot deal. especially if you have the $3 Garnier Micellar CRT.

I bought

1 Garnier Moisturizer $9.59
1 Garnier Micellar Wipes $7.59
3 Maybelline eyeshadows $4.19 ea
-----
$29.75
-$10/30 CRT
-$3 Micellar CRT
-$3 Garnier moisturizer MQ (this store takes expireds)
-$2 Maybelline DQ
------
$11.75, get back $5 for Garnier and $8 for Maybelline

If your store doesn't take expireds - there are $2 Garnier IPs on their website for Rose Water line.. You could buy 1 of the Micellar Rose Waters and one of the wipes in the pink package (MQ works fine on it)... I think they're part of the Rose line too??...
Maybelline is $10, not $8. Smilie

Sorry. Fixed it. Thanks s-momma. heart

EDIT: Also CG has a new eyelash curler out for $5.49.. I tried the $3 EYE coupon on it since it says "eye product" and it did NOT work. I had scanned the coupon on Qseer before attempting it and it indicated that it would work based on the family code, but it did not.

Regarding the idea for CVS to extend the expiration date on ECBs within the system, their news release from today mentioned NOTHING about it. Employees to get a $150 - 500 bonus, additional sick time in case of need for COVID19, etc. But NOTHING about reducing foot traffic by thinking of customers. You can read their FB page for the latest from CVS.

This will be interesting, as I still have expiring ECBs and we're going into the 'shelter-in-place' guidelines locally. I know others of you are already there. If I have to let my ECBs expire, I will hold onto them in hopes CVS will come to their senses and add this to the things they can do for us as a country.

Thank you for an idea. I actually thought $10/$30 is for Maybelline only.

YW. Just to clarify - I meant the IP works fine on the wipes in the pink package.. I just realized I wrote MQ .. I came up with that scenarion in-store on the fly and didn't have an IP on me, so that's why I didn't add that into my transaction.. and I didn't want to go home & come back.. I did use the IP on the wipes last week though.

Obviously there is NO plan to shut down front end if cvs is trying to hire 50,000 employees.

And if they don't shut down, then I think our hope of extending ecbs is not happening any time soon.

Yeah, the reality is if we let them expire, like many people do, the liability rolls right off CVS' books. So letting them expire even in these tough times just makes CVS more money.

I had a card that I have been trying to get rid of that just keeps itself alive (beauty bucks, unexpected bucks print on receipt etc) but I finally got rid of it by buying a couple cans of soup after my final BB printed. They sent me an email survey request and I let them have it. 10's for the store but 0 for will you shop here again and I told them flat out I was very unhappy that cvs was not extending ecbs despite a stay at home directive and said I didn't feel coming in to buy make up with expiring ecbs was not essential and each person coming may expose employees and customers. Then I said so.... I spent ALL my ecbs and WILL NOT BE BACK.

I just got back from an increasingly rare CVS trip. I had two ECBs that printed during the same shopping trip so I naturally assumed they had the same expiration date. Nope. One expired on the 15th. That's another 2 bucks I feel they ripped me off for. I used up the rest and left the store pretty frustrated. Sure I could have scrutinized them more closely, but for the love of God, why start printing varying dates (these were not BB, they were just regular ECBs from promotions in the same shopping trip/same transaction.) The clerk was totally unsympathetic and pretty unpleasant. Not a great way to win hearts and minds during a pandemic. I've been generally not particularly impressed with their deals lately.

Also, there were no paper products on the shelves. Not that this singles them out, but I had thought that since they were having a promotion this week they might have some in stock. Oh well. It's sad because CVS used to be one of my favorite places to shop. It was a great adventure. Now, it's more and more of a chore to even set foot in the place.

My city just ordered a stay-at-home order (but not a shelter in place) starting at midnight tonight.. CVS will still be open, as well as other stores but you're only supposed to go out for essentials. I am going to get in one last trip to CVS before the deadline.

CVS Carepass is closed for an undetermined time... so if you order online and it gets cancelled...and you need to them to refund your ECBs -- you're going to have to wait with me until they reopen.

Oh no! I need to check exp dates on all EBs now. So some from promotions this week are not the standard 30 days?

I went to CVS last night to do a few deals. The Maybelline deal did not work out as I expected. I got 3 baby lips, 2 in the blue tube and 1 in the coral color. Only the coral color counted for the ECB. I tried to call CVS today and the message I got was that the Extra Care department is closed due to the virus! I don't want to have to go back to the store, but it looks like I might have to.

Also, my 3/12 cosmetics crt did not go through. The blue tubes must not count as cosmetics this week. Ugh!

Just thought I'd share if others were going to try and get baby lips this week.
