With 150% scaling maybe. I went from 27" 4K to 27" 2k 144hz, the look is almost identical when scaled. 4K on 27" is too small natively and I have 20/15 vision. I have an Acer 32" 4K VA almost identical to this, it's actually pretty good.

The answer is very subjective. I for one prefer smaller text and leave everything at a 100% scale. I use a 27" 4k so the DPI is even higher than this. I sit about 3 feet away from my monitor so at that distance, 100% seems fine. I would imagine you would be sitting 3-5ft away from this and that 100% would be fine, but again it's all subjective.

as a reference, it's about the same as 1080p on a 15.6" laptop screen in terms of pixel density. different people will have different preferences. i personally don't scale 1080p on 15.6", but i do sometimes have to get closer to the screen to read certain things.

This item or the one available in Coscto?

https://www.costco.com/.product.1372219.html

I'll mainly use the monitor for coding and watching Netflix. Not really into gaming. Help?

Thanks for your response. I am thinking if I need to go with UHD or WQHD w/ 144Hz refresh rate?

someone tell me the best monitors that are 27/28 inches, 4k, higher than 60 refresh rate, ips, accurate colors, and everyone really loves the picture on it.

I don't even HAVE to have it good for gaming or hdr, although would be nice. I don't think the acer predator or asus rog swift are worth me spending the $1200+ for. I'd spend up to like $600, though.

Most articles telling the best are listing freakin old monitors that aren't even in stock most places anymore.

Also Newegg is PATHETIC by not allowing returns of monitors.

For your purposes I'd go with this 4K monitor instead. You don't need the gaming features on the Costco one. It's also lower res (1440p)
