Why no love for this deal? Seems like a great price on a great receiver.
Is there a better option out there?...

It's the CV 19 situation. People are worried about shutdown and jobs.

Stupid question - can you attach an external amp to this thing to gain two additional channels (making it 9.2 capable)? I understand that some receivers can process additional channels through a pre-out, while others can't...I'm not sure what this specific feature is called - can anybody educate me?

Good deal for a quality receiver. Newegg has it for $399 now, but I have to pay tax in GA so going with this deal.

Not the greatest receiver out there, and personally I'm waiting for HDMI 2.1 receivers. I already play the audio bypass game, and I'm not going to dump $400 on a receiver only to have to replace it with my HDMI 2.1 TV.

Also, I prefer receivers with pre-outs for the ability to amplify.

I have RZ830 (got it for $425 few months ago) and this is one of best receivers I ever had. I went through Marantz, Pioneer, Onkyo, Yamaha, you name it.
