Good deal on some truly awful movies (alright, the first one was ok). But I will say they has some great CGI and practical effects, particularly Davy Jones and crew- still hold up even today.

I'm in the same boat. The 4K/UHD release is inevitable. Disney is a master at getting people to double/triple dip on their purchases with new formats.

Lucky for me I have only owned 2 of these on DVD and own them all second hand on Blu-ray which include dvd and one 4K (the newest one). Want a whole box set.

The rest of us fear Apple because UHD Apple doesn't translate to UHD in the rest.

That sucks, I only use Apple ecosystem, iPhones, Macs; appletv's etc.

So for me, I want it to be proprietary on my Apple account. I just don't use anything else.

So if Microsoft disbands from movies anywhere, to me that's money tossed away because I'd never even login into that acct again
It's not the store that matters it's the Studio... seeing how Disney pretty much invented Movies Anywhere I'd say it's a safe bet to get and port to your Apple TV Library
