Here's another one.

Anglais Médical - MosaLingua [google.com] $8.49 Free

I had most of these already. They have been given before in the past. I guess I missed the French one before.

Here are all the apps on one page.

While they might not be the "best" programs, they're certainly very helpful in laying out the foundation of the Language.

It's a good start to see if you wanted to dedicate yourself to mastering it. As with anything, it takes time and patience, unless you're Michael G. Scott.

Did the Italian one for about 6 months before taking a trip to Italy, and it was super helpful. Like that you can specify to learn vocab for tourism, shopping, etc. Will try out the Spanish one

If you language or subject is not included on the list, you can just get the Anki app.

Anki app uses same concept and it's free for PC and android, apple folks have to pay for the app.

I know a lot of Med students who use the Anki app.

Anki is amaaaaaaazing! +100 for it, I am still tweaking my format on my cards, but there's plenty if you search their online database. Well worth using

I agree Anki is very powerful and highly customizable (you do have to spend a bit of time learning how to use it to take advantage of it's powerful features. I use it to keep track of all the words and sentences that I have a hard time memorizing.I am learning Spanish and I use several apps:

Anki
Duolingo
Transparent
Rosetta Stone
Babbel

from all the above i find myself using the free apps most of the time (ironically), apps like Duolingo, Anki, Transparent. And because Babbel and Rosetta Stone have only the Spain Spanish and focus on long session learning I get confused and drained from 30-45 min lessons.
