Wow, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Drive-thru car washes are notorious for scratching/leaving swirl marks on your clear coat/paint. Some people care enough about their cars to invest time and effort into making it look nice.

Cheap, but lots of complaints about the seams coming apart in the wshing machine.

^^CG products never seem to do well

Just used these for my yearly sealant and theyve been holding up well (block pad): https://www.amazon.com/Viking-Car...r=1-5&th=1

I use these for my business. Have them on auto delivery. Great for applying sealer and finish to cabinet doors and boxes. Thanks for the heads up

Good deal on the 4 pack of buffing pads as those are usually 8.00 a piece.

Anyone with ACTUAL experience able to shed light for me please....?

I have a FROZEN GRAY (fancy term for matte gray) BMW that can only be hand-washed.

Which of the listed products is preferred to avoid messing up the custom (manufacturer-applied) paint (for those times that I want to give extra attention for a home wash?)

TIA...
Just don't get anything too abrasive or use the towels for the wrong purpose

They do make a nice super soft black pad that is in this kit, with a little 3m ultrafine stage 3 compound and that black pad i have been able to get scratched dvd's to play again.

Could you use these in place of toilet paper and just wash them off after use? Asking for a friend.

Dude, the "can only be hand washed" is nonsense. Unless it's like a classic with odd old paint. You're acting like you never had money, which is ok to but seriously, chill out, it'll be fine not even being washed. The old adage about worshipping false idols is basic philosophy for your mental health. If you dare put that beamer through a car wash like once a month, it'll be fine man.. it's just a car. Spend more time hand washing your lady down.. or at least finding a good one...
