Looks like a great deal for a Factory Blemished brushless RIDGID hammerdrill.

They're supposed to be, yes.
This is based from conversation in previous threads and as mentioned by @Jyoss above.

Where did you find the LSA info on blemished tools? I'd have no problem buying from this site once I see in writing that the LSA is applicable. Every time a direct tools deal is posted there is a fued but I have yet to see in writing what the official answers is. Any help is appreciated

Are factory blemished tools eligible for LSA? Either way it is a great deal.

What type of proof needed for service? If a receipt then if says blemished via direct tools then its not covered for LSA? How will Rigid know?

I did an LSA on a factory blemished jigsaw a few months back. Customer service gave me a runaround and said I HAD to mail the forms in and couldn't complete online since I didn't purchase at Home Depot, but once I mailed in it went through just fine. No notification or anything that it was approved, but I logged into my account and it is approved. Take screenshots of the page and save to show it's factory blemished, not refurbished just in case they question it. I don't think that shows on the receipt. If I recall correctly, Direct Tools Outlet has a page indicating that factory blemished are LSA eligible and refurbished are not.

You swing a power drill to hit nails and drive them into something. Just like a hammer, but you're swinging a drill instead. Hammer-drill

Was it for slow $7 shipping?

Also what state your in and where they ship from?

Im in Cali so how long would it take 🧐

The FedEx shipping wasn't the slow part. Waiting for them to actually ship the order was.

If you've correctly registered your FB tool purchased from DT then you have the LSA. In my experience, I just walked into my local HD tool rental area, and provide them with my Customer ID number in addition to the serial on the particular tool.

Incorrect, though I suspect you're simply trolling.

LSA-eligibility is stated on the Ridgid site within their registration process.

EDIT: Surely this won't be the end of the debate, but I've attached a screengrab from the third page of the Ridgid online registration

Note that recently I bought a few more Ridgid tools from Home Depot, and registered the LSA. A couple months went by with no communication, so I logged into my Ridgid account, and I was lucky I did! The LSA had not gone through, and it was saying I had to take additional action. My luck was that I had 6 days left to complete the process before I was no longer eligible!

I used the "request additional review" option (rather than mailing in my receipts), and within two or three days I saw that the LSA had completed and now I'm good! But I still haven't received any emails from Ridgid about this particular registration.

TL;DR: Check-up on your LSA registrations! And if they don't go through in several weeks, contact Ridgid (or follow the instructions in your account) to make sure the LSA doesn't get invalidated!

Same exact thing happened to me. They are trying to screw a few people out of the LSA as much as they can.
