How come I can never find a deal in a watch that comes with the safety bar?
Like the watch though...hmm

The Joma Shop one for $129 uses the same pictures, may be a roll of the dice but this isn't a high end Seiko. It's just a bit cheaper than they usually sell for.

What is a safety bar? Watch looks good. Just wish it was blue. If this is a low end Seiko, how bad is it?

It's a bar that goes around the clasp of the watch that keeps it from falling off or accidentally coming unclasped.

Everybody is different....but I would not let the missing bar stop me. The deployment clasp will make sure that in the unlikely event that this does come open, it will not just fall to the ground.

If I owned a Seiko, I wouldn't want a security bar. I would hope the thing fell off.

Troll somewhere else, Seiko's are an excellent value. Many, many people who own mid to high end watches, still prefer to wear a Seiko on a daily basis. I have gotten far more compliments on my Seiko 5 Sport than I have on my Oris, Omega, or Luminox.

I don't own this model, but it is sharp!

Ignore them. They don't know seiko's history nor care to.
