Pros:
1. Art Style
2. Controls
3. Change between different types of game play. 2D to 3D to indie type shooter.

Cons:
1. Poor port
2. Crashing
3. Graphics - both details, and doesn't scale well (Ex. the resolution set in the menu does not appear to be the actual resolution it plays at).
4. Menus
5. Every character happens to be gay. Not sure why (I know I will get down voted for saying, but it just doesn't make any sense)
6. Buildings, etc are very static. Usually can't enter and are mostly there for a backdrop.
7. Environment is somewhat bare.

Neutral:
1. Quests
2. Story

If you want to play this game you should stick to the console version. It is not well optimized for the PC. There are mods out there that can fix some of the issues, but we shouldn't have to rely on the mod community for a playable version of the game.

None of the characters are gay. They are machines/androids. But even if you went by voice acting, this still wouldn't be true because there are male/female-like androids that are paired together and even a child robot in the forest village that has a robot "mom.:

A terrible port that has been all but abandoned by the devs and publisher. There are no patches to fix any of the issues with the game, forcing players to rely on a fan-made patch to get the game in playable order. And if you're running an AMD GPU, I can only wish you good luck. If you must play this game, get the console version instead and save yourself a headache.

I used the FAR mod and I have an AMD GPU, and I only experienced one single crash during my total 40 hour play through.

It's a decent game. I don't like it that much because of the weird "show us how much you love this game" vibe the developers give. you have to play the almost same game/quests multiple times to reveal the true/whole story. Like... ain't nobody got time for that. I want to play a game not join a cult

There are two mods for this game, FAR mod and another that improves graphics. Download both, install (5 minutes tops of your time....google FAR mod and you'll find both, look for a steam discussion link for most info to go with the download). Game will run at a smooth 60 fps from there on out. Don't try to jack up the frames higher (you can with the mods) because then you'll get weird glitches - the game is optimized at 60 fps.

Very fun game. Easy purchase for $14. Best played on a controller. With the mods, definitely better to play on PC than console - console is also plagued by frame issues, but you can't mod that so easily now.

And - ignore most of the posts above mine (seriously)

This game on PC is pretty harsh. Camera angles and controls left me feeling very out of place as a PC gamer. It's very linear and honestly at times feels like an arcade game. And the whole game design seems like it's built around a gamepad. Too bad, would have made a great FPS game with the art style and the game plot.
