Considering the Ring Pro by itself is $159 this is heck of a deal. They're probably trying to get rid of the Chime Pro as there is a 2nd Gen being developed now.

According to CCC, the lowest it's ever been on Amazon was $174 - July 18th, 2018. Black Friday has been $179.

At this price with the Chime, it's a no brainer.

Just as heads up. This doorbell is v3 and not v4 version. BH is clearing up their stock. Still a great deal.

Ring Video Doorbell 2 is still $99 at B&H. There's a front page deal thread about it but the share link didn't show in the slickdeals app for me to be able to copy a link into this thread.

I dont see why you need a chime when you can get a couple of echo dots to announce you have visitors. Being able to use Alexa and play music are given pluses.

For just a doorbell? Not really. If you're going to get an alarm with multiple cameras and you're looking for cloud service, then yes. Ring is only $100/yr for that

The Ring will now automatically show video on Amazon Echo devices triggered by a doorbell press. That's a nice feature that just became available days ago; this made me power on my Echo Show 5 again. And if you have data caps on your home internet, it's worth investigating how much data you use monthly and if the data consumption by Nest's always on recording will be an issue for you.

Do you have a link for details on this?

How do you determine doorbell versions?
