Hopefully it does. Was it ever this low?
It's been this price since Feb. and never really went away. It was still on the Front Page as a 'Featured Deal' up until yesterday.

If 'Klipsch' is the product and 'Adorama' is the seller, it's automatically on the FP.

How does this compare to the Klipsch R-26FA on sale for $500 (pair) https://www.adorama.com/kpr26fad2.html

I don't want to write a complicated answer ... so in a nutshell:

F300 : 2 way / 3 drivers speaker with front firing ports. ( 8 inch dual woofer)

R26FA = F300 + 2 way/2 driver up firing atmos speakers. (6.5 front firing woofers)

So: With the R26FA you get up firing atmos speakers included in the baffle ... but you trade off for smaller main woofers.

Hope it helps.

Good assessment.

Considering both of the options should be paired with a sub for home theater I wouldn't count the 6.5" as a negative.

Wife has been bugging to replace my old JBL J350A's. I see no reason since they sound great. How do these compare?

Can anyone elaborate on whenever these would be an upgrade vs Sony core cs-5 that I currently have?

I hope this doesn't sound crazy. I snagged a pair of Definitive Technology bp10b locally for $100. I think they are about 15 yrs old.

I see the prices on these DT are quite high originally... But how do they compare to these Klipsh? On par? Way better? Worse? Thanks for any input

don't be fooled by this fake deal. this is nothing more than an SD advertisement for this specific vendor (Adorama) selling a specific brand (Klipsch) posted by an SD editor (Iconian). He posts these "fake deals" constantly and each one is automatically promoted to front page status. You can tell they are fake since the links are specific to SD. If you go to Adorama directly and search for the same product you won't find it.
The MSRP is a huge inflated joke of a price. Also the entry level products from this brand are really low end products that focus on playing loud but are not accurate. Lots of people buy thos brand as they have never heard what quality speakers sound like and since these are available at mass market locations a wide audience sees them

What exactly do you mean? You remove the horns and placed the caulking on the backside? Just anywhere on the horn or near the driver? Would something like dynamat do the same thing or work better?
Yes. Remove the horns. Cut the rubber caulk and stick them vertically. Just avoid the aluminum at the end. Here's what i used
