Not trying to thread crap here, but for me when the charger and volume pod hangs down below your ear, it tends to pull a bit and to me is annoying. I would say this is a good deal but be sure to test it out before you exceed your return date.

not a bad deal, but the micro USB charging port is a deal-breaker for me.

Genuine question, but what's wrong with micro usb charging? I know usb c is a thing now, I'm not sure if it's like the new standard and micro usb is becoming a bit dated?

Still a newbie with usb c so I don't know too much about it other than most newer tech stuff have it.

I have had a couple micro-usb ports break on me, it was after years of use though. So it is hard to say for sure, as usb-c hasn't been out as long, but I think usb-c is more durable. Also, micro requires the plug to go in one way, which isn't that big of a deal, but it it's nice never having to flip around the cord when plugging in. Plus at this point it's nice only having to carry around 1 cord.

Yeah I've had the same experience with micro usb either no longer working or become flimsy, where you gotta wiggle the plug just for it to connect.

I can't say I've had those problems with most of my devices with USB-C now that I think about it. And the convenience of connecting either way for USB C I never really noticed until now lol

I've had many devices over the years with micro-USB ports, still using some today, never any problems or an issue.
Regarding the earphones , anything, wires etc dangling off my ears 👂 is no good and always a deal breaker. I also don't want to look like a 🐪 with antennas coming out of the ears.

For those interested, there are several add-ons you can use to solve many of these formfactor annoyances. There are over-ear snap-on things you can add so the speaker stays in your ear w/ running. There are also alligator-type clips you can snap on the cord so you can attach to the back of your shirt...which serves to both keep speakers from drooping/pulling, and also ensure the whole set doesn't fall off for whatever reason.

I usually collect these bits from previous sets that crapped out. Just like spare earpiece fittings.

It's not meant to hang, its supposed to be on the back of your neck.
