This is for "Mobile Hotspot Data," not your regular Mobile data on the phone itself.

But we can always just use phone Hotspot feature...

Do I need this if I have unlimited TMO One?
It adds extra high speed hotspot data. Your hotspot high speed data isn't unlimited. I think mine is normally 10GB so this doubles it

Looks like it requires a feature change on the plan. Possibly a price increase after the 60 days. I was paying $15/month for data and the same cap is now showing $30/month. I noticed they already enabled hotspot at 5mbps without doing anything.
When I look at the offer it says that it's offering an "additional 10GB" for a total of 20GB. My plan has unlimited data but no hotspot data so I'm guessing this would "upgrade" me to a plan with 10GB hotspot data before then giving me an additional 10GB.

I don't think this is for all plans. I'm pretty sure it's just for plans that already include hotspot data.

Are you on a postpaid plan? You must also have at least two lines on your plan. I think I recall reading the two line minimum somewhere. I signed up three phones on our plan. All free. All temporary for 60 days.

Does that give you unlimited 4g tethering?
For USB tethering use PDAnet. For Wifi, Netshare.

PDAnet didn't work for me as far as hiding USB tethering to get full speeds. Clockworkmod Tether is the only one I've gotten to work on an unrooted S9+. I haven't tried Netshare with wireless tethering yet.

Anyone tried to add it to an iPad line yet? Any love for the MI devices that actually provide internet and not just phone/Facebook access during lockdown.
The add-on is not available when I pick any of my MI lines.
