Vizio pushed a firmware update to their P Quantum X (and last year's P Quantum) that reduced the PWM frequency from 960hz to 120hz. If you're at all susceptible to PWM flicker - headaches, eye strain, etc. - then that's something to be aware of, as 120hz is quite low.

I was waiting for this $900 Black Friday price to show up again. I almost pulled the trigger 2 weeks ago when this was $999. I hope to not be disappointed. The interface for Smartcast 4.0 is supposed to be a great improvement. I wish the 2020 voice remote was included, but you cannot wait for everything. Happy tv hunting!
It was $900 just last month. Here's the link if you want to read some recent Sders' opinions. https://slickdeals.net/f/13870277-costco-members-vizio-65-class-px-series-4k-uhd-quantum-led-lcd-tv-px65-g1-899-99?src=SiteSearch

Yeah, I bought the 65" PQ (2018 model) last May from Costco for $1150. That was the closeout price.. the lowest it went before going OOS.

I've been very happy with it (apart from poor upscaling but a 4K blu-ray player helps upconvert DVDs at least). This is a stellar deal.
Not quite the lowest. I got that 65 pq-f1 in July from Costco for $699.99

This is crazy. I paid $750 for the M8 back in November. I love it, but I would have gone for this instead.

I bought this 2 months ago. Paid 950 at Costco, price went down to 899 two weeks later. Price adjusted at store, they wouldn't do it online at the time.
Updates for software and firmware through 5G wifi took about 1.5 hours to even begin watching content.
Overall, the picture is SUPER bright. Highly recommend it you have a well lit room. Streaming 4k Ultra HD movies on it looks phenomenal. Picture modes vary greatly. I would not waste the money getting it professionally calibrated though.
I am noticing some "dirty screen" issues when I was able to watch hockey. Still not a deal breaker for me.
One biggest complaint is the white light bleed from on screen menus. It can be very distracting. If you like watching with subtitles, this may not be a TV for you.
With the addition of Disney+ app added to the built-in Smartcast, this is a great value set for the price.
Integrates great with Apple and Android devices. Careful with your choice of sound bar, ARC functionality gets touchy.
There is a rumor the TV turns on by itself. I have not experienced this yet.

just bought this 10 days ago for $999 in store. Will they do a price match via chat or do i have to walk my happy ass back to the store? thanks
Yes, they will price match within 30 days. After that it's at the manager's discretion but if you're within 90 days you can return/rebuy. I had to check out with a new TV and then immediately return it at the CS desk with my old receipt. They were OK with this.

This or the Costco Q60r that was 799?
Q60r sucks, the P-series is on another level. Falls somewhere between Samsung's Q70 and Q80 series IMO
