My son just turned 1 a couple of days ago and he has this. He really enjoys it (especially the radio part) and it does assist in walking, but the wheels don't turn on hardwood. He just kind of pushes it, as it slides along. The wheels are kind of stiff and don't easily turn, but do turn. It probably works better on carpet, because we do have a few rugs and the wheels turn just fine on those, it's only the hardwood.

Thanks for the tip on the carpet. I'm a Target credit card holder but never used it online before. Hopefully I can get the discount and get free shipping using the Target card.
