I think those were just bi-metal not carbide tipped. There was a set of the bi-metal ones for $15 but out of stock near me and no shipping option except for truck delivery.

If you want the bi metal one go into your store and go to the CS desk, give them the item number, and ask to check the inventory. For those non stock clearance items, almost always especially in my store, there are 1 or 2 left and they are up on a backstock shelf not in the correct section. My store said oos for that item, the 6 piece 24v set for 112, and the utility knife and i got all three of them, despite saying OOS online.

That set was just bi metal and had smaller sizes.

I bought this set about a year ago on sale for from $149 down to $119. I thought that was a good deal so this is even better. I needed the 4.5" to drill through a cinder block wall to install a dryer vent. It cut through but wasn't easy. I don't have experience with many masonry hole saws so hard to make a comparison. I think this is a great price for this set.

This is the $22/$30 hole saw set: https://slickdeals.net/f/13916348-spyder-set-bi-metal-arbored-hole-saw-set-22-ymmv

It is a completely different set, non-carbide, and smaller sizes. There is little comparison to the set in this deal.

this is a nice set. i have owned mine for over a year and it came in handy many times. i love the quick core eject system. it still seems expensive but for carbide tipped its really not a bad deal. they will last much longer than the regular steel ones.

Is this a YMMV deal? The link is showing $119 for my local Lowes.
