Quick question. So the bypass sim lock process can be done my self (after purchases before activation) or I have to go to a store and only reps can do that?
All Verizon phone now are locked for 60 day after activation. After that it will automatically unlock, you do not need to call in or anything.

And over a QUARTER MILLION ratings. You gonna hold Best Buys 97% against them?

No but they are one of the biggest sellers on ebay and when you sell at the volume they do you're bound have the occasional disgruntled customer. Best Buy has a 97% rating on ebay because they move a lot of product there.

Which was my point. Not that they're Best Buy. And I'm pretty sure you knew that and just felt like trolling

I have purchased 2 TVs, a laptop and about 6 desktops from them in various conditions over the years, and while I had to return one of the desktops, returning it for a refund was a breeze.

THANK YOUSmilie One more question. Is that unlock policy only applicable to postpaid connections or prepaid too? I'm planning to buy this phone for Verizon prepaid service. TIU

Still using a Note5, any idea if Note10 prices will get lower when the Note20 (??) comes out, or go for this deal? I think 2019 BF deals were pretty close to this.
I'm not really in a rush, this N5 is still working well. Battery life sucks though . Thanks!
Fyi.. With tax (ca) total is $553.70

Unlocking this means getting it activated first, doesn't it? Or is it possible to bypass activation?
I have the same question...

Already answered this...

If bought directly from verizon its 60 days from purchase, if bought from 3rd party 60 days from activation. Still have to put a verizon sim into it either way before itll undo the sim lock and allow other carriers.

It is my understanding from a Verizon rep that the 60 days of postpaid usage has to be on the "ORIGINAL PURCHASER'S" line. If it's on another person's Verizon postpaid line, the device won't unlock. Plz correct me if I am wrong.

Verizon reps are clueless about this 60 day policy. If you buy from verizon store you dont have to give them your account or number information so this wouldnt even be possible.

Prices always go down, it's technology dude. I bought an N4 for $40 around Jan 2019, then LGG8 for 200 this Feb.

Had the N10+ last year, but I don't think any phone is worth over $300. Sold it after 2 months.
