Careful with cheap acoustic Monoprice guitars, their quality is hit or miss.

I would safely assume these are the guitars that Double J Jeff Jarrett used in the WWF back in the day.

Just picked one up. Apparently for the price, you can't go wrong with this as a basic beginner guitar.

That's great if you can afford it and are not buying it for a kid likely to give up in a month.

I never understood why invest in some cheap equipment to start with...one they sound horrible and go out of tune fast and if you ever want to sell it no one would buy it...I always believe in the mid to upper level stuff weather it's musical equipment or camera...you want a product that will produce something good.

I had some cheap guitar that I started on and I had one string that always loss tune and the action was so high it ate into my soft virgin guitar fingers... On top of that it also sounded bad even in my inexperience ears.. I paid around $150, ended up buying a Martin for $1k and my experience learning on a Martin so much better...and I had a few friends that wanted to but it off when I was playing in a while. If I wanted to become more serious and wanted an even higher quality....there will be lots if people would would want to buy my Martin...the same thing happen with my cheap drums that I bought for $300...i ended up just leaving it on the side of the streets. Buy quality and if you don't like it someone will buy it off you...if you stick with music you'll gave something of quality that you might never need to upgrade.
You can't understand why a total newbie beginner with no experience or knowledge wouldn't drop a ton of money on something they may hate or give up quickly??

Indeed this is the problem with two idea thinking. There ARE cheaper options that offer very good quality.

One needn't drop 1000 bucks to begin. Just do your research. Cheapest is rarely best and more expensive doesn't always mean better quality.

Example, my Dean Dave Mustaine Mako Acoustic Electric has been remarked upon by players of much more expensive guitars including Breedlove and Martin.

Exactly. When it comes to guitars, price does not necessarily equal comparable quality, play ability, and features. A $1000 guitar won't make you a better player than a $200 guitar will.

90% of the time when I play I do not choose my 2 most expensive guitars. I've also have had cheaper guitars from a brand play, look, sound, and have better quality control than more expensive options from that same company.

Yup. I've owned Gibson and Epiphone and sold my Gibby and kept 3 different Epi models!

I have one of their electric guitars and it plays well and stays in tune. If I was wanting a cheap acoustic I'd take a chance on this being as good as my Monoprice electric.
