Great emulation machine imo. Slim also available for same price and has better battery but not oled. I personally prefer the oled version

These looked huge when they came out, now with Switch and 3ds XL they are actually pretty reasonable in size.

Great system, put a ton of hours into it and held off on buying a switch for a few years still playing it.

Just bought the slim a couple weeks ago. Thinking about grabbing this one for the oled screen. Think it's worth it?

I think I read the other big difference between the slim vs not slim (other than OLED, obviously) was the slim uses a standard usb plug for charging while the OG uses some proprietary cable.

Go on ebay and buy a japanese import model. Same price and you'll be able to get a cool colorway.

how does the Vita hold up against today's current tech? Is it the last decent handheld, at least before the Switch (Lite)?

How the hell are these things 120$ refurbished?

I remember buying mine bundled with games and memory cards for < 150 brand new many many years ago.

That and the fact it's gamestop makes me think this is something to avoid like the plague

The 3ds beat it up and took its lunch money.

The vita was a nicer piece of technology than the 3ds by far. But it was nothing short of a complete failure and ended up being total garbage
TF are you talking about? Vita had some of the best portable rpgs of last generation handhelds, it was far from garbage my man.

Is this a good unit for listening to MP3 as well? I still have my dying PSP1000 that I now listen to MP3 when being stationed and I need an upgrade of PSP that still can do both. Maybe PSP Go?

Sure, custom soundtracks work as well for listening and playing

Why would I want to spend 100 bucks on an 8 year old, discontinued mobile console?

Wow good find. Thank you.

Do you know if it has A-B repeat function for improving listening skill?
