On Saturdays beginning March 28, Krispy Kreme will add a free dozen Original Glazed® Doughnuts to every pick-up, drive-thru and delivery order that includes a full price dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts or more, encouraging customers to put a smile on a neighbor's face by giving them the free dozen. In fact, each free dozen will include a special smiley-face doughnut; we call it our "Be Sweet Dozen." The thousands of free dozens on Saturdays will be securely sealed and bagged individually, along with instructions for contactless drop-off, including social distancing and safety guidelines.

These deals are great to get me in to grab a few boxes for the office but how about two donuts and a free thing of holes or something for quarantineers

This seems a little excessive, I think one or two additional free ones would be sufficient.

Hi kids..
Do you like diabetes?
Wanna eat all these doughnuts
and develop it like i did?
Run high A1C's, and have loss of eyesight
And if you don't develop it you can be obese like honey boo boo's mother and father.
People thumbs you downed but as someone who has just recently dealt with ramifications of a family member going through bad health issues from the things you mentioned it's not fun. A lot of people blow this stuff off and laugh at it until it happens to them or a parent, then it's not so funny anymore.

But that probably doesn't count as full price to qualify for the free dozen?

Krispy Kreme is next to Panda Express. $30 for 2 dozen donuts and Panda Express family meal. Not bad for the weekend. Now, we have to get out and take a short hike to burn the calories.
dude you're gonna have to run for quite a while... you know a mile only burns 100 calories. so you need to run 2 miles per donut. and we're not even started on the panda express lol

probably just me, but I think Krispy Kreme doughnuts tastes great when frozen...

so I always buy a couple dozen and freeze them.

Eat one a day. Oh, who am I kidding.. TWO a day. https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...lies/smile.gif
How long do they keep for, and how close to "fresh" (in terms of taste and texture) are the last few?

I put them in tupperware with lids tightly closed. They are usually gone within a month. Obviously they are not as good as fresh, unfrozen ones, but I still like them. Smilie

Do you freeze them like that (in tupperware). Then let them thaw or heat up in the microwave? I never thought about freezing them.

This is a good deal if you were already planning on buying a dozen at full price.

Interesting deal. Guess they are hurting as not much people are buying donuts as nobody is gong to work to share these sweets?
...and afraid to touch the box or afraid to spray box with Lysol.

Great time to donate to our first responders
Thanks for the thought but we'd rather have masks and disinfectant wipes. Also they would be discarded because most first responders wouldn't eat anything donated thats not sealed...especially now.
