Depends on what you use and want. If you want better music quality and your connecting device supports APT-X, then Sony is better. If you require physical connector to be USB-C, Sony has it. If you want more comfort, then Bose is better. If you want better noise cancellation, then as a owner of both, IMHO, Bose is better. If you want to be able to seamlessly connect to two devices and switch between the two, then Bose can do that. If you want better microphone, then Bose.

With the two, my hands constantly reach for the Bose. I use Sony when doing house chore during the weekend as scrubbing the shower and mopping the floor is pretty boring...
Great pair of headphones. These are super comfortable for long sessions. My gripe is they are essentially unusable for games in Bluetooth mode because of the lag. It's even noticeable watching youtube.

I have the Bose Soundlink 2 headphones so I don't "need" them either. Noise canceling would be nice, but I'm used to not having it.

I have these and they're the best headphones I've ever used. Highly recommended, it seems it's always between these and the Sony ones for most people. I found a great deal on eBay for a brand new pair a few months ago, this is even better than that. Nice find OP!

So can these be used for work too, like as a headset during the day for making calls or just primarily for music?
