Definitely a company worth supporting if your CEO is doing this:

"Columbia Sportswear CEO Tim Boyle cuts own salary to $10K, retail employees receive regular pay"
I've been doing my part and buying Columbia gear recently.

Good on the CEO for taking a pay cut from $3.3mil and at least 10 top execs to take a 15% pay cut. The CEO pay cut would fund about 2 weeks worth of pay for the 3,500 employees. It's going to be tough to keep the paychecks going out when the shutdown is prolonged.

Pay disparity is a thing.

Great company and an excellent price to quality ratio. In my experience, the men's jackets run just a little big. So while I normally grab an XL for most brands, the L fits perfectly.

Are returns free? Never had their stuff so don't know if I need a medium or large. I'd like to order both and return what doesn't fit.

Then there are the likes of Bezos and the Walton Family, to name a couple.

Awesome deal on the Men's Ascender jacket. All sizes in nearly ever color, and the reviews are fantastic. Couldn't turn down one in black for $40 shipped!

Why aren't people boycotting outdoor apparel companies for selling clothing made for going outside?

Sidenote: Columbia makes great stuff from boots to jackets.
Might be the dumbest thing I've read on this site and that's saying something.

Great price, great jacket. It's very similar to and maybe 90% as good a North Face Bionic at half the price. I do own and like both.

I'm sorry the obvious sarcasm wasn't obvious enough.
