FREE Ebooks - 1.4 Million Titles

+314 Deal Score
36,512 Views
The Internet Archive in San Francisco has opened the National Emergency Library, a digital collection of 1.4 billion books you can check out at no cost.

There are fewer titles for recent years, but when I searched I was able to find a few great reads. There are also plenty of children's titles for those who are trying to entertain little ones.

I checked to see if this had been posted and didn't find it. I haven't posted much, please be kind if I messed up. hug

They've also got quite a few titles from the Boxcar Children.

I filtered for 'fantasy' and skimmed titles for a few minutes and found :

multiple Dr Seuss titles
Charlottes Web
Where the Wild Things Are
Lord of The RIngs series
Chronicles of Narnia

Also check your local library, they may have online ebooks & audio books to checkout too.

Isn't this the same thing as Open Library [openlibrary.org]? The only difference I see is they eliminated the waiting list.
