Same here. I didn't need another IEM, but three BA and the bluetooth adapter, hard to pass up. Want to see how they sound since I've been wanting a pair of three BA for a while now.

In 4 1. Excellent deal. The LS line is old but excellent. The 300 is very dynamic without being hard to drive like the LS400s.

Ok. This or akg n40? Looking for more spatial sound, intended use is mostly fps gaming on the go. At home I have fidelio x2 and akg 702. Like them both. Just looking fos something small to carry around. I'm a truck driver...

Yeah... had the same problem. I bought them anyways...
Thinking of getting the AKG N40 too and compare them to my Phillips Fidelio X2 and AKG 702

Here's a review of the entire line vs. the previous models:

You have to dig through quite a bit. That being said, looks like people are paying close to retail back in the days for this line. For the price, this looks like a good deal, especially with the bluetooth adapter.

I looked at the N40 too and the way I decided is, how many people actually pay close to retail and that made up my mind on these. Also, this model has 3 BA vs a Hybrid on the N40, so I decided on these instead.

There is not much ifo about the ls300 in that thread. Seems that many didn't carefor the ls300 or 400 and the most popular model was the ls200. Should all be taken with a grain of salt since head fi is terrible when it come to hive mind logic. Still trying to find a good review for this specific model.

Audio Technica is best with 2 BA in-ear monitors. I still have CK10, I am hoping to keep that for whole life, to be honest. I think that is why a lot of people like LS200 more than LS300 in Head-Fi.

However, this LS300 is not bad. Initial impressions: A little bit bassy, but still good sound stage, good (not perfect) clarity, good separation between instruments. I can say IEM's fair price alone should be around $200.

If you like classical, instrumental music or metal music, it may not suit you, but anything else should be fine. For those music types, 2 BA iems should be better.

For $130 with Bluetooth cable, it is a good catch.

I wonder how comfortable these are to wear. Most in-ear headphones are incredibly uncomfortable to wear. I have small ear canals I suppose, because sometimes the smallest of ear tips are too big. The BT cable is nice bonus for when I care less about sound quality. e.g. podcasts
