Please educate me. Is this a good deal for every day use? Non-gamer asking.

IPS good viewing angles and it has speakers. No height adjust I think.

I'm working from home making content for k-12 teachers remote video etc for 10hrs a day. Before COVID19 I never used my computers much.

For me I think I prefer something wider so I can keep more browsers and program left to right. I had a Dell 27 for a week and while it was better than just my laptop it was too high vs wide.

I actually still have a too small screen LG 29 wide. It is junk but so cheap and I mounted to a arm that cost as much as the monitor. I think the monoprice and other 35 or 34 wide is better for under $400 for people not playing games.

Problem is the cheap 34 and 35 sell out quickly and take to long to arrive. I was lucky to have a microcenter close enough and they have stuff right there but all their best have been bought out 2 weeks ago.

Bottom line working on a laptop screen and not using a laptop stand with keyboard and good mouse for long days. Nope. So if you have no choice to get a 35 or 34wide. This is better than your laptop only. Just stack books or something to get the monitor to correct height

I guess it sold out? I only see it for other sellers at much higher prices.

This 27" AOC for $209 is a good alternative. Doesn't have speakers but the acer built in speakers at probably garbage anyways.

From what I've seen is supposedly you cannot use overdrive and freesync at the same time with this monitor.

I think the biggest drawback will be it being a 27" 1080p monitor. A lot of people do not like that for gaming or video playback.
