Not all phones and carriers support WiFi calling.

Thanks for posting! I've been looking to get one but I haven't been ready to spend $250. May be able to ditch the shitty rural DSL and make the move to LTE.

In my experience, the only cell boosters that actually work are the ones that have an antenna that runs outside of the building and is mounted on the outside of the roof. Anything that doesn't have that was BS. I haven't tried this one, and it has been a long time since I have last installed a cellular booster, so I don't know if things have changed over the years. I am not convinced by what I have read about this one so far.

Wifi calling is just a cheap band-aid for your carrier's sh**ty network.

This one comes with an outdoor antenna.

I did not see that at first.

I am still leary of getting this, but instead because of the lower range of signal that is put out inside the house.

I'm more of a higher end booster kind of guy, but weboost (formerly Wilson electronics) is well known for boosters that work.

It may reach as far as their website claims but it depends on outside signal, super weak signal (or no signal on phone) will not "boost" as far.

It's more like a repeater, but it certainly does "boost" the signal. The outdoor antenna is much better than the phones internal antenna.

I currently have their single phone dock, and their mobile 4g-x and they have saved me hundreds (if not thousands) of times while working in the oil industry.

I have also used their connect 4g (house booster). It works good also, and the ones I have installed for family members also work great.

Their eqo model was a their super easy to set up home version, I think it has the stubby antenna instead of the larger directional yagi.

As a side note: the beginning of this post sounds like an ad for weboost but that wasn't intentional lol.

As you comment in a thread about a home cell signal booster. Applause

Cheap bandaids are much better than expensive ones.

I know on Verizon I had to go into my account, then to what sub features I was paying for for my phone line, then check a box to allow wifi calling. Then save the settings on the page. Rebooted my phone and it worked.
